Hawkley Red Tiger T872

Tiger is our senior stock bull.  He is quiet and robust and is proving a reliable breeder. He also won Best Stock Bull in the South East Aberdeen Angus Club Herd Competition in 2021. 

His dam is Hawkley Red Tilly H390, an ET daughter of LJC Javelin M08 and LCC Tilly MB009, a cow we purchased from the Leachman Cattle Company in Denver in 2007. 

His sire is Mosshall Red Evolution P353, owned by Cogent, and sired by Red Lazy MC Cowboy Cut.

Hawkley Red Zambezi W002

Sire Mosshall Red Harvey U869, who came from a very good foundation cow at Mosshall - ML Red Hypatia 913C.

Dam is Hawkley Red Zinfandel 879 - who goes back to Red Feddes Big Sky R9, a famous female breeder from the Feddes herd in Montana.

Hawkley Red Saturn W020

Sire is Mosshall Red Dancer 902, an outcross bull we used in the herd. Dancers dam being Airdale Darcy by Weeton Lord Horatio

Dam is Hawkley Red Stony 578, an ET daughter of OHRR Red Dakota Copper  - a US world beef champion Red Angus. She is still breeding regularly in the herd at 12 years old.

Mosshall Red Dancer 902

Purchased in 2019 to further introduce UK Red Angus genetics into our predominantly US bred cow herd.

Dancer is sired by the Danish bred Bakkens Reed Ion Jasper and out of a black Aberdeen Angus cow - Airedale Darcy R411 by Weeton Lord Horatio M357.

Hawkley Red Rum R771

A stylish son of Hawkley Red Radar, one of our recent stock bulls.

We have used Red Rum since 2017;  he has very good balanced EBV's and is out of Hawkley Red Rebalas L582, a smart daughter of Red Majestic Lightning 717; Denver Show Champion in 2007.

Her dam is a daughter of Leachman Heavens Sake 1002F.

Oakley Red Grenade

Grenade has sired many of our young herd cows

His sire is Red Fine Line Mulberry 26P, who is probably the most famous Red Angus sire in the world.

His dam Red JCC Gidget 80P is a tremendous wide topped, deep bodied cow with excellent feet and udder.

Grenades full sister Oaklea Red Gemma sold for 4800 gns at Perth Sales 2011. Another full sister Oaklea Red Gayle made 4000 gns.

Many of the bulls we have sold from 2014 - 2017 have been sired by him, including ones to Cogent and Dovea Genetics for AI, and ones exported to Poland and Spain.

Hawkley Red Radar

A son of well know ABS sire 5L Norseman King, Radar has bred many good bulls for us, and now has daughters coming into the herd. Tremendous carcase traits. We are now using one of his best sons - Hawkley Red Rum R771.
